Jill started in Real Estate when she was 9 years old. She would take any family guests for a full tour of their home, and even showed them the storage space in the closets! She turned lights on and off and let them discover rooms, like a true Real Estate Agent.
At age 10 her mom came home to a dresser in the hallway, the living room all re-arranged, including art hung in different spots and she found that all the kids were now enlisted as “movers” so Jill could switch all their bedrooms.
Her home staging /decorating career had begun. For the next 8 years that house was turned house upside down.
At 18, Jill answered an ad from a local real estate office. The Broker gave her an aptitude test and said “For being 18 you have some of the best scores I have ever seen, come back to me when you are 25.” She was devastated. She wanted to sell houses now!
Fast forward to age 24, Jill became as Assistant for a successful local Real Estate Agent and then went on to get her own license at age 25.
She sold 21 houses her first year, which was 7 x the average!
In 2003, Jill opened Simply Irresistible Interiors, her Home Staging company. It was a bold move because it was unheard of! She didn’t have inventory so she tore her own home apart to “stage” her listings. People always asked her of she was moving!
Fast forward to today and Simply Irresistible Interiors Inc. has put its mark on the Real Estate map, helping thousands of Home Owners sell faster for a better price.
Today she continues to stage Re-Sale Homes, Investor Property, Show Homes and Show Suites. She also offers her professional staging at a reduced fee, for all her listings, as part of her marketing process.
She owns enough inventory to stage approx. 80 -100 homes a year and if your home is vacant she will bring the furniture to set it up. This creates better online photos, resulting in more traffic & OFFERS!
She is also the only Award winning Home Stager in Greater Edmonton, winning 6 Top Ten Awards through RESA and 6 through IHASP, her Staging Training and Resource affiliates.
Jill believes in the process so much that she offers Staging consultations to her listings, as part of her professional marketing plan and will stage it for them also, if they choose that option.
